In accordance with the Academic Exchange and School Credit Exchange Agreement, students wishing to apply for the 2021 Korea University International Winter Credit Exchange Courses should read the attached guidelines carefully before submitting an application.

 

1. Application period: Until November 24, 2021 (Wed.)

  Method: By email to deliciousdream@gist.ac.kr  (Kang Yuri, Section of Student Records)

Required documents: 1. An application form for credit exchange at domestic universities

2. A list of credit exchange applicants.

 

2. Notice

 - Course Period: December 27, 2021 – January 14, 2022 (3 weeks)

 - Eligibility: Current students (undergraduate/graduate) who have been recommended according to the selection regulations of their affiliated university.

※ Students who are expected to graduate in February 2022 are not eligible to take the course.

 

 - The application form must be signed by the advisor and the dean before submitting.

    (Non-face-to-face approval is possible)

 - Before applying for credit exchange courses, the student is required to check his/her eligibility in advance with the professor in charge of the subject or the head of the relevant department for the course they wish to take to see if it can be recognized by GIST. (If it is not possible to confirm in advance, they can do so after applying for course, but they are still required to check whether credits can be recognized.)

- Duplicate courses are not allowed

(Example) If students take a similar course offered by GIST at another university or vice versa, credits may not be recognized for graduation if duplicate courses are taken.

 

 - Students participating in credit exchange at other domestic universities must submit the Korean University Credit Exchange Results Report within 10 days of completing classes at the relevant university.

 

 - If you are unable to attend the university you are applying for due to unavoidable reasons, please contact the Section of Student Records immediately.

 

 - In case of credit exchange in the seasonal semester, tuition is paid to the university you are attending *Tuition: 450,000 won per course (3 credits)
