The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) announced that “Professor Do Han Kim and his research team at the Department of Life Science, GIST have identified novel Gene Network Systems in mouse heart cells.” They analyzed high throughput gene expression data and discovered 57 new gene clusters which are controlled by unique transcription factors.

The team has conducted Systems Biology Research Project supported from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). The results were published recently in the journal “Bioinformatics” (Oxford University Press).
