GIST opens a summer school to young scientists

  - The SSOLLA 2011 starts on July 19

 - Quality lectures about basics and applications of laser

 

 

The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President: Jung-Ho Sonu) holds the 2nd Summer School on Lasers and Laser Application (SSOLLA 2011), a program for young scientists in the field of laser research, from July 18 to 22. 

The participants in this program, which is organized by the GIST Advanced Photonics Research Institute (director: professor In-won Lee), include 10 young scientists from Malaysia, Vietnam and India. They will be given quality lectures and practical training by world-class faculties of the GIST.
