GIST, ranked top in the number of SCI theses per professor in 2010

- ranked 2nd in the research expense per full-time professor.

 

 

Last year, the university that announced the biggest number of theses(SCI) per professor was Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST, President Jung-ho Sonu.)

 

According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology announcement (www.academyinfo.go.kr) on 29, GIST have produced 1.41 SCI theses per a full-time professor.

 

POSTECH took up 2nd position with 1.29theses per a person followed by KAIST with 1.01, Sungkyunkwan University with 0.84, Seoul National University with 0.83, Yonsei University with 0.72, Korea University with 0.63.

 

When it comes to research expense per full-time professor, GIST ranked the 2nd with 468,331,000won. POSTECH topped the list with 607,775,000won where KAIST ranked the 3rd with 328,286,000won followed by Seoul National University (229,542,000won), Yonsei University(197,228,000won), Sogang

University(164,664,000won).
