Presidents of 5 science and technology-oriented Universities started to put their heads together for educational and research cooperation. Jung Ho Sonu of GIST, Nampyo Seo of KAIST, Sungchol Shin of Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology(DGIST), Mooje Cho of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) and Yongmin Kim of Postech had a meeting with Jinsuk Lee, Director of Science and Technology Talent from Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in January 11 to discuss how the 5 universities will cooperate.

The 5 universities agreed to create a ‘Presidential Council of 5 Science and Technology-oriented Universities’, hold a meeting on a regular basis and expand cooperation.
