A Route Map of Human Genome Came out

See interaction between 24,000 structural particles ‘at one glance’ ∙∙∙vailable for free on the Internet

Developed by a research team led by Professor Dohan Kim of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology

The research team led by Professor Dohan Kim (Department of Life Science) of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology said on January 11 that it successfully development a comprehensive route map of human genome, which had been left unsolved since the human genome sequencing.

The database system named ‘Integrated Pathway Resources, Analysis and Visualization System (IPVS)’makes it easy to see route of interaction between genes, transcriptomes, proteins and metabolome in the human body that the science community has found. It contains information on more than 500 operational routes created by interaction between more than 24,000 structural particles. The data is available for free for anyone on the Internet (ipavs.cidms.org).
