Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Sign MOU with Five Science & Technology Specialized Universities Such As GIST

 

 

Ministry of Education, Science and Technology signed an MOU with five science and technology specialized universities such as Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), and Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) to increase mutual exchange and promote cooperation.

This agreement is to secure institutional basis for practical cooperation among the universities, in particular, to build cooperation system between them, develop joint programs, and exchange human resources.

The five universities, first, plan to cooperate with each other in education sector like credit exchange of undergraduates and development of preliminary course of common college subjects for gifted schools (AP system). For this, this summer, they will operate the summer session class with credit exchange for trial and jointly hold an admission presentation meeting.
