The Preparatory Committee for a Cultural Technology Institute

 

The first meeting of the members of the preparatory committee for a cultural technology institute at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President: Jung-Ho Sonu) was held on March 7 in Gwangju. This day"s meeting was the very first gathering after the establishment of the committee based on an amendment of the Framework Act on the Promotion of Cultural Industries, and of 18 committee members consisting of Hae-Yeong Yoo (chairperson, professor at Dankuk University) and those engaged in academic, industrial and governmental fields.
