Prof. un-chul Paek Donated 10 million won as Development Fund

 

 

The bereaved family of professor Un-chul Paek, no. 1 professor and pioneer of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST, President: Jungho Sonu) donated 10 million won as GIST Development Fund commemorating one year after the death of the late Mr. Paek.

 

The bereaved family visited GIST last Tuesday to meet with vice-president of foreign affairs Bong-ryull Yang and expressed the will for donation for the development of GIST.

 

Cherishing the memory of deceased prof. Baek, a party will be thrown at 10 a.m. on coming May 5 in honor of the publication of the book at Haerim Hall of School of Information and Communications, and subsequently, its ceremony will be held at Grave Park of Hwasan Park.
