GIST, Held Completion Ceremony for College Course Campus and Renewable Energy Research Center Building

 

 

The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, president: Sonu Jung-Ho) completely constructed the campus for the college course and the renewable energy research center.

 

 

GIST held the completion ceremony for college course campus in May 8. In addition, it held the opening ceremony for renewable energy research center and an international symposium.

In this opening ceremony, Kang Un-Tae, mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan city, Kim Jin-Hyeon, former minister of Science and Technology, Baek Sung-Ki, former president of POSTECH, Kim Boung-Sik, president of Chodang Univ., and Alan J. Heeger, a winner of Nobel prize, attended and looked around main facilities of GIST.
