Kang Un-Tae, Visited Field for Developing Microbial Fuel Cell System

 

 

Kang Un-Tae, mayor of the Metropolitan City of Gwangju, met the team led by Chang In-Seop, professor of Department of Environmental Science and Engineering of GIST (president Kim Young-Joon), which successfully developed microbial fuel cell system that can generate power while processing waste water, on June 11.

 

In the presentation on microbial fuel cell, Chang mentioned the meaning of the research by saying “Due to this research result, we step forward to the commercialization of microbial fuel cell technology by improving the application of the technology to the field."
