A paper of Professor Seong-Ju Park"s lab, in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President: Young-joon Kim), was included in the "Highlights of 2011 collection" of the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics.

- According to a recent announcement by IOP Publishing, Professor Park"s paper, titled “Improvement of GaN-based light-emitting diodes using p-type AlGaN/GaN superlattices with a graded Al composition" was selected as one of the journal"s 2011 highlights, demonstrating keen interests in and strong recognition of it. - The paper, having Sang-jun Lee, PhD student in the lab, being the first author and Professor Park as the corresponding author, was published in the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics in February 2011.
