GIST, Holding Inauguration Ceremony for Sixth President of GIST

 

 

Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, president Kim Young-Joon) held an inauguration ceremony for the sixth president of GIST at Oryong Hall on June 29. Kim Young-Joon (former processor of School of Environmental Science and Engineering) was appointed as a new president of GIST.

 

In this event, about 500 people including Kang Un-Tae, mayor of the Metropolitan City of Gwangju, Huh Jin-Kyu, director of GIST (CEO of Iljin Group), Sonu Jung-Ho, former president of GIST, and Kim Yoon-Soo, president of Chonnam University, political and academic figures, and GIST faculty members and staff were attended.
