GIST, Developing High Performance Dual Junction Solar Cell with Flexibility

 

 

It was announced that the team lead by Lee Jong-Ho, assistant professor of School of Mechatronics of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), developed high efficient solar cell module with flexibility by using fragile compound semiconductor.

 

In this research, this team conceived flexible platform with trench and island of notch and implemented flexible solar cell module with fragile, micron-thick high efficient compound semiconductor.
