Dr. Cho Kyung-hwa to be appointed as an assistant professor of UNIST Dr. Cho Kyung-hwa who completed her doctoral program in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President Young-Joon Kim) (School of Environmental Science and Engineering: Advisor, Joon Ha Kim) was appointed as an assistant professor in the School of Urban and Environmental Engineering at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). Dr. Cho will start teaching from the spring semester of 2013. After completing an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Ajou University in February 2006, she majored in environmental data mining and watershed management modeling in the environmental system engineering laboratory to complete master and doctoral program (August 2010). Since then, she has been a post-doc research fellow. She has published 25 dissertations in SCI journals both as a main author and co-author including publishing 3 dissertations as a main author in the ‘Water Research’, the most recognized journal in the water related research. Currently, she is working on a dissertation to be submitted to the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science (PNAS).
