The 1st GISA Sportsfest 2013

 

 

  

 

 

 The 1st GISA Sportsfest 2013, a sports event for GIST international students, was held during August 10-11, 2013. GISA, which stands for GIST International Students Association, is an international community of graduate students, researchers, and interns who stay in GIST. GISA has been officially registered and operated with the support of the GIST administration. GISA Sportsfest was organized to provide an healthy activity for international students and to build new friendship and bond, keeping everyone closer as family members. Besides that, this event aimed to add more fun to de-stress each one from their usual life style by healthier activities. As an initial step, GISA Sportsfest was composed of two most popular indoor-games, Badminton and Table Tennis, which allowed the talents of the members to shine. GISA plans to organize such activities annually to let the GIST international community have more interaction with members, both with the players and the audience.
