Professor Heechul Choi of School of Environmental Science and Engineering has made a contribution of 10 million won to GIST Development Fund.

Professor Choi said, “GIST has grown into a world-class engineering university based on the ceaseless and tremendous effort made by all its members over the past 20 years.” “I have been also able to do rewarding research thanks to the support I have received from GIST. I wanted to show my gratitude for that,” he added.

Professor Choi has been a faculty member of GIST School of Environmental Science and Engineering since 1998. As director of Water and Nanotechnology Lab, his research focuses on developing new environmental materials and devices employing nanotechnology.
