The Advanced Photonics Research Institute (APRI; Director – Professor Yong Tak Lee) held a technical education session on December 3 for local industrial, academic, and research professionals in related fields.

In the session, APRI researchers and invited outside speakers gave lectures to about 50 attendees on femtosecond laser sources, trends in 3D metal printing, polymer and metal laser 3D machining, microgroove machining on non-planar surfaces using lasers, and practical training in femtosecond laser machining.
