Neuro-Fit receives fist ever venture capital grant given to a GIST Student

Specializing in the treatment of neural diseases
and creating software for brain stimulation

Jungil Bin who is a graduate student at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), and he is the first GIST student to receive venture capital funding for his business called Neuro-Fit. The venture capital funding came from the TechX program of a company called Future Play whose CEO is Joonghui Ryu.

Future Play"s TechX program has successfully helped to launch several technology start-up companies through investments, technical assistance, and mentorship. The program"s goal is to develop new start-ups as a team.

Neuro-Fit has developed a neuro-navigation software that can improve the successful recovery rate of patients with neurological disorders through electrical brain stimulation. Neuro-Fit"s CEO Jungil Bin worked as an intern for 10 months at the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and has had direct experience with global start-up development projects.

Jungil Bin participated in the 2015 GIST Entrepreneurship Program and enrolled in graduate school at GIST to pursue his dream of entrepreneurship. Mr. Bin said, "I want to use this investment to help the growth of Neuro-Fit so that we can help more people who are suffering from neurological disorders."
