French Ambassador Fabien Penone visits GIST

□ On March 8, 2017, Ambassador Fabien Penone of France visited the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST • President Seung Hyeon Moon).

□ The French Ambassador visited the GIST Public Relations Center and the GIST Hall of Fame.

□ Ambassador Fabien Penone and GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon discussed ways to increase research and student exchanges thereby setting the stage for future cooperation between GIST and French universities.

□ Ambassador Fabien Penone received his diploma from the Paris School of Politics and the School of Government Administration. He was appointed the French Ambassador to Korea in 2015.
