Professor Han Won-Taek and Doctor Ju Seong-Min from School of Information and Communications in Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST· President, Kim Young-Joon) were awarded ‘Best Paper Award’ in the 3^rd International Conference on Sensor Technology and Application titled “SENSORDEVICES 2012” organized by International Academy, Research, and Industry Association (IARIA).

   Professor Han Won-Taek and his team participated in the SENSORDEVICES 2012 held in Rome, Italy on August 2012, and presented a paper titled “Development of Au Nano-particles Cladding-doped Optical Fiber for Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor Applications”. IARIA selected five papers including the paper submitted by Professor Han Won-Taek and his team as “Best Paper Award” on 17^th October, 2012.
