GIST signs MOU with the Gwangju branch of the

Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association

“Technical support to enhance competitiveness of women entrepreneurs”

On May 13, 2016, at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Gwangju, GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon and Director Suk Hee Lee of the Gwangju branch of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association (KWEA) signed an agreement for the support of fostering women entrepreneurs. Over 100 interested parties attended the signing ceremony.

GIST and Gwangju branch of KWEA will work together in the following areas: 1). to exchange technologies, information and professionals, 2). to support technical training and provide consulting 3). to collaborate on research and technology commercialization, 4). toexpand and discover good business models, and 5). to promote women entrepreneurship.

President Seung Hyeon Moon said, “With GIST"s entrepreneurship and business support programs, we will contribute to the local economy by supporting the business activities of women entrepreneurs.”

Chairman Suk Hee Lee said, “We hope to strengthen women entrepreneurs by increasing their regional competitiveness by cooperating with GIST.”
