GIST Technology Institute signs a win-win collaboration agreement with the Industrial Bank of Korea
□ The GIST Technology Institute (GTI • Director Jin hee Ahn) signed an agreement on May 31, 2017, with the Industrial Bank of Korea to develop commercial enterprises between industry and academia in furtherance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
□ The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST • President Seung Hyeon Moon), GIST GTP, and the Small and Medium Business Administration consulted each other to determine the key industries related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to provide various support measures, including financial support, so that commercial enterprises between GIST and industry can grow.
∘ GIST will do its utmost to develop technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to establish new companies. The Industrial Bank of Korea has pledged to support the initiative and to provide stable operating funds for the newly formed companies.
□ GTI Director Jin Hee Ahn said, "We hope that the excellent technology of GIST will spread widely in the region and contribute to the development of the regional economy through this agreement for mutually beneficial cooperation and commercialization."
