GIST College parents donate 10.8 million KRW to the Development Fund
□ The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President Seung Hyeon Moon) announced that Jung-mi Huh who is a member of the Seoul Dental Clinic and the parent of Chae-yeon Kim (2014 mechanical engineering studnet) donated 10.8 million KRW to the GIST Development Fund.
∘ Jung-mi Huh attended the parents' conference held in Busan and Gyeongnam area on May 24, 2017, and was deeply grateful to the school and decided to donate after listening to the GIST status and vision.
□ On June 21, the GIST Development Foundation held a donation ceremony for the Development Fund, which was attended by about 10 people including GIST staff and faculty members on the 5th floor of the Main Administration Building.
□ Jung-mi Huh said, "I hope that GIST, which is a leading science and engineering university that is ushering in the future, will contribute to the development of national science through the training of talented students in science and technology. I am hopeful that the donations will be used for the development of GIST and students." The donation will be used for the GIST Development Fund.
