□ Members of the National Assembly Science and Technology Information and Communications Commission and members of the Ministry of Science and ICT audited the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President Seung Hyeon Moon) on October 23, 2017.
□ Eighteen members of the National Assembly attended a meeting at Oryong Hall and listened to a status report about the school from GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon.
□ After viewing the "2017 Gwangju Technology Business Week" exhibition in the lobby of Oryong Hall, the National Assembly members had lunch at GIST before visiting the National Science Museum in Gwangju.
□ The National Assembly members visited the "Space 360" exhibition at the National Science Museum in Gwangju before going to the Kimchi Research Institute in Gwangju, where they learned about its status and conducted field visits. They also visited Naju and learned about the the status of three institutes, including the National Radio Research Institute, the Korea Internet Promotion Agency, and the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Promotion Agency.
