GIST receives a donation of 120 million won from MOA General Construction Co., Ltd.

□ The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President Seung Hyeon Moon) has received a donation of 120 million won from the MOA General Construction Co., Ltd. (Chairman Chi-young Park).

∘ Moa Construction Co., Ltd., was founded in 1989, and has been growing steadily as a prestigious company that realizes the 21st century culture of architecture with its skill and efforts for new creations, long experience, and know-how.

□ Chairman Chi-young Park, Vice Chairman Yoon-Ha Park, and Executive Director Il-doo Hwang visited GIST on February 1, 2018. They watched GIST introductory videos and toured the campus. They then participated in the donation ceremony, which was held in GIST College Building C.

□ Chairman Park said, "GIST has grown to become a prestigious university of science and technology that represents our region, and we feel proud as a members of the local community. We have been paying attention to GIST's various social contribution activities, and we are glad to be helping train future researchers."

□ The donated funds will be used by the the GIST Development Foundation.
