Below is an abstract of the talk:

 Lecture Abstract: This lecture introduces the application of generative AI in the legal field and the 'SuperLawyer' service. The influence of generative AI in the legal industry is rapidly increasing, not only abroad but also in Korea. We will explore how generative AI is bringing changes to the legal field, focusing on aspects such as improving lawyers' work productivity and changes in job roles. We will explore the application of LLMs in the legal industry, discussing the need for or utilization of big tech LLMs, smaller LLMs, and domain-specific models. We will also cover AI model optimization techniques such as fine-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering, as well as addressing the hallucination problem, which is becoming increasingly important in the legal field.

'SuperLawyer' is a generative AI-based legal assistant service for Korean lawyers. We will examine how SuperLawyer enhances lawyers' work productivity and minimizes hallucination by utilizing vast legal data including case precedents. Additionally, we will introduce the current status of 'Solar Legal', a Korean legal-specialized LLM under development, along with SuperLawyer's features specially designed for legal professionals and actual use cases.
