■ Hiring Process
◦ Step 1: Document Screening (Blind recruitment)
- Up to 5 candidates per available position
- Evaluation: Education (60%), Teaching Experience (30%), and Other Experience and Activities (10%)
◦ Step 2: Interview (Blind recruitment)
- 2 candidates will be offered a contract
- Evaluation: Class Materials (30%), Demo Lesson (30%), and Interview (40%)

■ Conditions of Employment
◦ Position: English Instructor (full-time employee as a substitute for faculty on maternity/parental leave)
◦ Period of Employment:
1) February 1st, 2021 to June 20th, 2021 (4 months and 20 days) (Substitute for faculty on maternity/parental leave) or
2) March 1st, 2021 to July 31st, 2021 (5 months) (Substitute for faculty on maternity/parental leave)
◦ Work Description: Teach a combination of English classes and one-on-one Clinic sessions totaling 12 class hours per semester
· One hour of one-on-one Clinic sessions is equivalent to half a class hour
· One extra-curricular activity (i.e. workshops, clubs, contests) per semester on select English related topics/skills
· Duties and responsibilities related to teaching courses such as lesson planning, evaluating and recording students’ performance, and maintaining regular office hours
◦ Salary: 3,150,000 KRW per month (including a severance payment in accordance with Korean laws)
◦ Benefits: on-campus housing (depending on availability), private office
