지난 10월 30일 제 1회 GIST-SIT(스티븐스 공대) International Joint Workshop이 본 원에서 개최되었다.
 
2008년 3월, GIST는 SIT와  MOU를 체결하여 Dual Degree Program을 추진 하는 등 교육 및 연구분야에 대해  상호협력하고 있다.
